1988 formula steering issues (Page 1/1) Piewicket JAN 01, 01:11 PM My son recently bought a 1988 Fiero Fotmula. The bottom bearing of the pinion is shot and we went ahead and bought the bearing from rodneydickman.com. After pulling the rack and pinion, A few things we noticed. 1st the dust cover for the pinion on the bottom side is missing. The pinion bearing is Shot (we got a new one from rodneyfickman.com). And there looks like some damage to the rack from the pinion jumping gears. I have tried to find a 30mm Dust cover to fit online but have been unsuccessful. I don't know what is the best way to proceed. Any help will be much appreciated. Raydar JAN 01, 01:33 PM I would find a replacement rack. That one looks dangerous.
