I picked up this NOS 125 transmission but im not sure if its a fiero specific transmission as some things seem off, like the connector for the Speedo sensor below. also the second pic is the stamp code on the transmission.

My research shows hat this speed sensor is the updated version from 90s T125 used in 3.1 gm applications. I think this is just a newer version of the T125. the connection looks to be the same.

Is the bellhousing a metric V6 bellhousing? (useless if it's for Ecotec/Quad 4 etc) Any more info from the place you got it from?
I think this may not be compatible with the Fiero. You'll need change it to one from a Fiero tranny.
The PN cross references to these vehicles: So the trans most likely come from one of these, hopefully with a V6. https://www.thewrenchmonkey...uto-parts/bwd/s8304/[This message has been edited by fierosound (edited 01-17-2022).]

I thin I have a 85-86 auto trans ratios: 2.84 1st, 1.60 2cond, and 1.00 3rd with a 3.65:1 final drive. that is the same as the 90's pontiac transport vans as well. this should be good for my swap.

It’s metric. It’s stamped on the pan. I’m sure this is a tranny made for the transport vans. I’ll look into the speed sensor.
