Upfix, PCM / ECM / electronic motherboard repair service (Page 1/1)

Hey guys, figure I'd spread the word about a good service that helped me out bigtime, they perform electronic part repairs on all sorts of things like PCMs, body control modules, etc. They fixed my dishwasher control module. Figured I'd leave a good review about them somewhere and let some fellow car guys know they exist and are reputable.

Found them searching for a used motherboard after my dishwasher (of all things) started having an intermittent "power failure" issue. Troubleshooted myself to the dishwasher control board, which led me to trying to reflow the solder joints myself but with no luck, (actually made the issue worse). After attempting my own repair I said screw it let's give this Upfix repair service a shot and sent the control board it in for repairs. Less than a week later it's already back and my dishwasher is working flawlessly; I see that they replaced all the relays and capacitors as well as professionally reflowed the solder joints much neater than I did when I did it LOL. Looks like a few resistors were replaced as well.

The place is called Upfix. If you have any car control module in need of repair (or even a dishwasher logic board) don't hesitate to send it to them for repairs. They run a great service.

Thanks for the tip.
If word gets out, these people are going to make bank.

I know people (myself included) who won't buy korean (or really any microprocessor controlled) appliances, solely because the electronics are so flaky, and expensive to replace.
