My 88 notchback restoration is moving ahead after unforeseen delays. De-rusted, suspension and brakes rebuilt, engine back in and running. However, I've got a couple of leftover parts, probably associated with the bumpers, that I can't remember where they came from. I took hundreds of pictures and should have taken thousands because these don't seem to be in any of them. I can't find anything in the service manual that looks like them. Can anyone identify exactly where these should go?

Supports that bolt to the front or rear bumper beams and used for energy absorption and to support the bumper covers. I will have to leave it to someone else to give specific locations for each!

No, part No. 12 is shaped differently. I already have those reinstalled. They have to be associated with the bumpers but I can't find a spot for them.

Those are the front bumper supports for a later 87-88 coupe or Formula. These are mine. (see pics) They came off an 87 4 cylinder coupe. I’m about to start on my next project, nose surgery! Funny, I was just looking at these in the garage tonight as I was thinking that I need to get off my ars and get started on this project! Kit

I went through the FSM but I couldn’t find any pics showing these supports. What I did find was a pic of a bumper pad car. (not the same of course) Hope this helps, Kit

It helps to know they go on the front, but I haven't been able to determine how they bolt on. I guess I will continue to see if I figure out how they bolt on. I'm kicking myself for not taking one more picture. It must have been obvious when I took them off two years ago.

Not sure if those are the tow blocks?
