I want to install a mint 84/85 tan interior on my ttop. this interior doesnt have a provision for batt and oil gauges above the climate control. can i easily swap out my 86 cluster for an 85 cluster? is it plug and play?

so is the cord to the oil and bat on the aux guage just a plug in to the gauges itself? so if u use an 85 gt gauges i simply plug the wiring harness, absent the aux extension, and it will work? just want to make sure?

Ok, let me get a little more information on what you are trying to do. You have an 86 Fiero that you want to replace the Interior with an 85 interior, but you want to keep the 86 gauge cluster and Aux gauges? I just want to make sure I am going to give you the correct information.

no other way around. I have an 86 se and want to install a mint tan interior from an 85 GT. I want the cluster from a 85 V6 as it doesnt use the oil/bat aux gauge.

ok thanks I just wanted to make sure. And I had to look up AFAIK. Seems like are world is all about abbreviations now. in 10 years there wont be a proper English language, we will all talk in abbreviated code!
