1988 shock question (Page 1/1) ceverhart MAR 02, 12:46 AM SO I bought an 88 GT last year from the Chicago area, the front suspension is badly rusted, I have purchase used upper and lower a-arms and have a poly kit to rebuild the front suspension. Today I decided to go ahead and replace my shocks but found that the clips for the bolts are gone so the previous owner just used a nut and bolt on the bottom of shock. This is proving to be a bit difficult to remove to rust so I am going to just jump in and tear it all down to do the rebuild. My replacement lower control arms still have the factory clip for the bolts to secure the shock. I dont have those bolts. I am hoping one you might know the bolt size I need so I dont have to carry the lower control arm into the hardware store and start trying bolts... mrfiero MAR 03, 01:51 AM PM me your address and I'll send you a set of factory bolts. ceverhart MAR 03, 07:14 PM That would be great, I sent you a PM.
