Chevy 3.5 v6 swap question (Page 1/1)

For those who have done or in the process of swapping a Chevy 3.5 v6 into their Fiero, what fuel pump did you use for the swap?

Basically, I am looking for fuel pump recommendations for the swap.

Thanks in advance Mike

not that it matters much for the question asked, but which 3.5, VVT or non VVT?

I know several guys run fuel pumps for early 4th gen F bodies (camaro, firebirds ect) and C4 corvettes. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if a stock Fiero V6 pump could supply a 3500, but I have never tried it. My car has a 340 LPH, but that would be way overkill for a NA 3500, and probably overkill for my turbo car.

Quantum Fuel systems has inexpensive pumps, with great customer service.

1996 Corvette pump is a drop in swap and the factory used it with the 330 HP LT4.

stock fuel pump feeds my E85 4.9 ... you'll be fine with a 3500...

Cajun the vette pump will work. It is a good idea to also use the vette regulated fuel filter as it is set for 58 psi like the stock 3500. When I did my swap there was not much info on return less fuel systems. I went with a 3400 fuel return system at 40 psi and 28lb injectors I had on hand but it took some tuning. If you are going stock engine this will make the swap a lot easier. https://www.amazon.com/ACDe...Filter/dp/B000C9S33U

Thanks guys for the additional information...............

Will definitely look into installing a regulated fuel filter.
