3800 sc out of a monte carlo (Page 1/1)

I can find all the info in the world about 3800s out of the grand prix and riviera but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out what I'll need to get for the motor if I'm getting it out of either a MC or an Impala. The only thing I'd have to buy would be the different oil filter housing, right? Possibly an alternator bracket? Or can I use one of the smaller alternators off the grand prix?

I'm currently working on my L67 swap, and got my stuff out of a 05 Monte Carlo SS. It has the appropriate oil filter housing. I still need to figure out if the half-shafts can be used like the Grand Prix's. Based off of pictures I believe the content in my engine is identical to the Grand Prix (<03 MY) for the most part.

1) the oil filter housing might need to be changed and 2) the super charger pulley bracket might be the long one that hits the decklid hinge box...

The Monte Carlo, Impala and Regal all share the same body platform with the Grand Prix (W-body). So the engine out of the Monte Carlo should have the correct coil bracket, oil filter housing and alternator for the Fiero swap.
