I don’t drive my 86 SE during the winter,so yesterday I put a fully charged battery in her, turned the ignition switch and nothing,no fuel pump, starter or lights, where do I start looking ?

Make sure battery cable ends are "CLEAN" and make sure connections are tight to battery.

triple check battery to block ground! must be clean and free of corrosion

Thanks for the reply, but I have done the obvious, and am wondering if there is a connection that’s after the battery that would cause absolutely no power to any part of the car,

Any evidence of rodents chewing through wires?

Check to see if you have voltage at the power junction block (by the battery).

Nope,so what’s causing it ??

Blown fusible link
Corrosion on Battery Junction Terminal contact surfaces
Chewed wire

If you've got no power to the power junction block, then it should be pretty easy to check to see where there's no continuity between the battery and the block. (Disconnect the battery first!)

You need to trace the problem; Take a multimeter and test where you HAVE power and where you DON'T have power. Start at the battery connections- check to see also if you have a good ground, via testing battery 12.6 V with meter ground on engine block, and then on the chassis....
