86 4cyl with AC coolant hoses (Page 1/1)
Miker MAR 15, 01:56 PM
I'm trying to find a replacement for the coolant hose that runs from the water pump to the pipe on the passenger side rear.

As per title its an 86 4cyl with AC.

I last bought one (years ago) from the Fiero Store but the listing doesn't seem to be there any longer.

Any ideas for a replacement?

They make flex hoses for this reason.
Can find straight, 90° on 1 end and likely others.

Take the hose down to your local auto parts store and match it up. The store in my area lets me go back where the hoses are and I match it up best that I can. I always seem to find an equivalent or something that I can cut to fit. Just be careful to check the hose ID. Also check out Rock Auto that has quite a few hoses listed

I didn't know they made a flex hose with a 90 bend. Thanks for the education.

I think I'll try one of those as the hose I got from the Fiero Store was a struggle to get on and didn't seem to fit correctly after it was on.

I'm not sure the car had an EOM hose when I bought it and I replaced all the hoses with ones from the Fiero Store shortly after I bought it as I didn't know the age of the existing hoses.
