Are there any benefits to using this over stock and if so what? I have stock 2.8

Never bought one but some comments I've heard are lower restriction where the front and back pipes come together versus stock. Combined with porting the exhaust manifolds can release a few more ponies.

If you cut apart the stock 2.8L crossover pipe at the Y where the left and right manifolds connect the pipe narrows considerably from the pipe diameter. There is a significant restriction there so I see an advantage to using the Fiero Store unit for improved exhaust flow. ------------------
