Attempted to change oil but can not get oil drain out. It moves slightly in both directions but will not come out. Used an impact on it once I got it to move but it will not budge. Any advise?

Well.. stop turning it Right
Warm the car up and try loosening it. Its a really big plug and i would guess someone over tightened it trying to get it to stop leaking because they didn't get a new gasket.
Make sure you use the correct size 6 point. You can get a new plug still and perhaps it should be replaced once you get this out.

I'm just curious... where's the actual oil drain plug?

I would advice you to turn it counter-clockwise. [This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 04-28-2022).]

Yes I was turning it counter clock wise. An old trick I was taught is to turn something to the right if you can not get it to loosen.

IDK if you were being sarcastic but this is the plug AKA oil filter cap as the 88 Duke has no other way of draining the oil unless you use a vacuum.[This message has been edited by skywurz (edited 04-28-2022).]

No no... I was being serious. In the thread that Gall supplied a link to, that item is referred to as an "oil pan filter plug cap". So you're saying that the oil filter cap is also the oil drain plug? (I've had several Fieros, but never an '88 duke.)

Correct that 4" Plate is both the oil filter cap and oil drain plug.
