Hello

Changing struts, 88 GT

Does anyone know what this plastic piece is for, and if I need to find another one? This is broken.

thanks

Plastic is "Filler" for under size cam bolt that allows Camber adjustment for rear axle.

I don't think this bolt "kit" is OE even for 88.

Many use another type of kit w/ an offset "washer" that is a cam that does same. Because Most Struts are made for this type setup w/ "ears" and slots on one bolt hole, usually lower bolt.

⚠️ If has 2 cam bolts in 1 strut...
Something is "wrong" and PO trying to get more Camber adjust.
Good luck figuring out the problem and if needed get new bolt set.

There are two different camber kits floating around.

I prefer using the Spicer / NAPA type.
The adjuster is used in the lower bolt hole.
