4.9 Auto bracket mount kits? (Page 1/1)

Hello All,

I'm getting ready to put in my 4.9 with its accompanying 4T60E. Screwed up and waited too long and now Johns 49 performance is no longer around. Only other place I can find a mounting kit is west coast fiero. I've heard tons of bad stories so worried about sending them a chunk of change and praying they come through. Anyone else know of someone selling 4.9 mounts? Either a one off or a store? Anyone get a 4.9 kit from WCF recently?

Thanks!

The stock 4.9L 4T60e brackets can be slightly modified to fit on stock Fiero trans mounts. On the left side just cut off the rubber and use the steel bracket. On the other side just strip out the bracket. It should bolt right up. You could also use 4T60e mounts from other GM cars that would be a direct fit.

Thanks for the replies, I'll reach out to Trent and see if its the entire kit. If not I'll take a look at the method you mentioned Dennis. Thanks again
