Where did these stripes come from? (Page 1/1)

I have been looking at the google images for quite a while and cannot find these stripes on my fiero, or the lower door stripes. Does anyone know if this was a dealer option or something? or am I just incompetent with my search? thanks in advance

A dealer option, maybe, but more likely it's something from the aftermarket added by a previous owner many years ago.

I've never seen that specific design. It is probably a custom one-off. Take those pictures into your local sign shop for a quote. They should be able to cut those vinyl graphics for you. They could probably install them as well if its within your budget.

Don't cheap out on the vinyl if you want them to last for more than just a few years. Be sure you are getting premium vehicle quality vinyl. Even then they won't last forever. Vinyl manufacturers and installation shops won't warranty the work for more than a few years, if at all. Especially on a horizontal surface like the hood of a car.

I'm pretty sure those are aftermarket, perhaps even from the same fella on eBay that I've used for my Formula and Subie. I'd highy recommend him. Excellent price, will customize, very durable. These decals have been on my Formula for seven years. Haven't weathered at all, even on the side that always faces south when parked.
