UX1 radio, tape speed adjustment (Page 1/1)

Has anyone torn into the 5-band EQ radio and found how to adjust tape playback speed? Mine's too fast. Belt swap didn't fix, problem transferred when I swapped the motor itself.
Most decks have an adjustable pot controlling the motor speed, but I haven't found where it might be hiding in these.

Maybe this may help?

Maybe the belt isn't run correctly?

Welp I just answered my own question... bastard speed adjusting pot eluded me for years, turns out it's on the cassette mechanism board and hidden by the lower metal plate which guards the belts. All this time I've been dumb and looking at the drive motor for it.

I took a Dremel to the plate so I could turn it with the radio plugged back in. All good.
