84 Fiero 2.5 Occasionally Stalls and Low Idle (Page 1/1)

Hey guys, need a little help. I’ve got an 84C which now has an 86 2.5 converted from an automatic to a five speed. All works well with the exception of stalling once or twice throughout the day as you’re coming to a stop. The engine is bored .30 over with aluminum pistons and a K&N filter, no other mods. The plugs are telling me it’s running a bit lean. I’m still using the 84’s computer. It does idle a bit low when it’s warmed up, about 500rpm, wavering between 400-600 sometimes. Do I need a larger injector? I’ve had 3 different IAC valves in, this one works the best, the others were wildly high at idle, 2500-3000.

ECM needs PROM for Stick Trans and some wiring.
Otherwise expect "Random" stalling and other problems.

Right PROM will use IAC motor to prevent Stalling at stop signs etc. w/ a stick trans vs auto trans it think is still installed.

High Idle can be vac leak.
