It would be easier to help you if you would tell us what engine and transmission you have in your car now.......

I believe that's an Isuzu trans. I think you were looking for a later F23. (In the correct configuration, both will bolt to a GM V6, but if you already blew up a Fiero tranny, the Isuzu won't likely last long.)
But yeah... We need to know what engine you have, how it was installed, etc.

Oh. Ooops. My bad. It looks like it will bolt to the V6, if that's what you need.

Engine is a 2.8 with 3.1 crank , 3.1 pistons , bored .040 over Comp 260h cam with custom pushrods , comp valve springs , lifters, 1:6 roller tip rockers , ati double roller timing chain , topped with a Holley 4 barrel 390 carb with vacuum secondaries ,
Have not dyno tuned this car so not sure on numbers but I can tell you that this motor has enough torque to break a m17 lol Furring my engine build I opened up the transmission and it looked really good for its age , can’t find parts for them and no one makes syncros anymore ,,,, when I get a chance to remove the transmission, I will open it up and see what broke ,,, I believe what broke is the differential but visual inspection is necessary loo

Yes I’m just trying to figure out if that trans is a fwd getrag , if so I can hit up Rodney for his adapters and cables

That trans looks like an Isuzu. Rodney's pieces won't work.
To find a workable Getrag, you're going to have to find something for FWD V6 cars, 86 through 94, or thereabouts. (90 - I believe - and later has a stronger differential.)
The 93-94 3.1 trans will likely be a New Venture T-550. (It's essentially a reworked/upgraded Getrag.) It uses the same Rodney pieces as the older FWD Getrags. But it has a hydraulic release bearing. You will need to use a Cavalier (or other) clutch for this trans. The Fiero clutch release fingers will be too close to the release bearing. Found that out the hard way.
Also... anything much newer than 88-89 will have a magnetic VSS, instead of the gear driven VSS that the Fiero has. I believe that Rodney sells the gears, but it's a bunch of trouble to replace it. Have to split the cases and such.[This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 07-13-2022).]
