SBC Swap Questions (Page 1/1)

Hey all. New Fiero fan to the forum here.

I am currently trying to swap a 350 w/ vortec heads into my 84 Fiero with the Muncie 4 speed. Are there any specs on the internet for the flywheel and adapter plate needed for this swap? I know Archie sells a kit with those included in it, but it did not seem like he was still active - especially after I got no response from his website. I guess that would be my other question then: is Archie still around and selling these V8 kits?

My father and I are confused on how to continue with this project without this information, so any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Yes, I'm still here. I try to drop in at least once a day.

Still doing V-8 kits etc.

I’m sorry to say that I’ve been told that my website is not completely IPhone friendly.

most folks don't know you can tap on "view desktop site' in the iphone browser options to fix all that.

Otherwise, If you can get on your P.C. You can check out my V-8 swaps kit as follows.:

I have 3 different levels of my kit for the Small block Chevy engines Automatic or Stick shift.

My “Economy kit includes all of the custom made parts it takes to do the swap. You still will need several over-the-counter parts to complete the car. You can read up on the Economy Kit here http://www.v8archie.us/economy-kit2.html

The next kit up the line is the Deluxe Kit. It has all of the Economy kit pars plus the Starter, Remote oil filter kit & the Waterpump. You can read up on the Deluxe kit here http://www.v8archie.us/deluxe-kit1.html

Then, we have what I call my Master-Build Kit. This kit includes all of the parts that I would be using if I were building your swap. You can read up on it here http://www.v8archie.us/master-kit1.html

I also have V-8 conversion kits for the newer LS Chevy V-8 engines for stick shift cars

My LS1 kits will work with the LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6 & LS7 and with all of the LS based truck engines including the LQ4/LQ9/LM7. This kit will work with Stick shift transmissions.

If you are considering using an LS series Chevy engine, Use the following links….

Thank you for the reply! I was feeling lost, but this has reignited my passion for the swap!

Can I personal message you here on the forum for questions about the kit and swap, or would you prefer email/text?

If Archie doesn't mind, why don't you ask him here in the forum, so that others might benefit from the info.
