Anyone know the size of the Castle nut used on the rear tie rod? I'm speculation the original tie rod is on the car I'm working on. Thanks in advance

Steve, I looked through the P22 and the rear suspension isn't shown. The best I could find was on the front suspension ball joint and that's assuming that the castle nut would be the same. There's a notation that there are 10 of them used on the car. The size is M10 x 1. Hope this helps if you haven't found one, yet.

Thanks for the info. I think that to date I've purchased $35.00 assorted metric and standard castle nuts and none of them match up. I even removed the nut from the otherside and took it into our local 'we have everthing store' and I couldn't find a bolt that it would thread up on. I just had the car aligned and I'm trying to not have to change the tie rod and effect the alignment. I'll dive back into it tomorrow.

Try something like Tractor Supply or a farm implement dealer like Mahindra, John Deere, etc. I've often had good luck with them when automotive and hardware stores didn't have the fastener I needed.
OR, how about Rodney Dickman?
