So since the installation of 3800sc which I hard mounted to the car I have frequently had to re-tighten all my bolts.
To be more concise, the engine moves around, especially under hard acceleration. And, consequently I have re-tighten all my engine mounts.
I have two upper mounts that are hard bolted to hold the thing in place.
Unrelated, I have been doing a small mini bike build utilizing these very small coil over springs they use for off-road bicycles. They are all sizes and very inexpensive. Just look on Amazon, search "bike shock absorbers".
I was wondering if they could function to better manage and balance my engine in the bay?
Thoughts? Been done before?

Even split lock washers do a good job. If you are already using them see how old they are, eventually they flatten out and stop functioning. They basically act a spring on the nut so with vibration and whatever else at no point does it get loose enough to back out.

I'm thinking the engine torque should be managed more than contained. Similar to the exhaust system cycling.
I believe the little bicycle is a good dampener. They are inexpensive and seem more hardy.
