Cruise control won't keep consistent speed (Page 1/1)

Hello folks I'm almost there with fixing my cruise control. I replace the stalk and at least now the cruise is trying to work. The only problem is is it's having trouble holding a speed like it's losing vacuum. I should note that after about an hour of sitting in the garage I pulled off the bottom hose to the servo and I heard air release so I know it's holding vacuum. The canister holds vacuum so what do you think I should check next? I also did a vacuum test on the vapor canister and that seems all legit. I don't know what else to check

Servo have 3 valves. 2 in the thing, 1 vac dump for brakes on. all must seal or servo will leak.

Careful pinch off large brake dump to see if is leaking.

Vac can below can leak a little causing vac leak to the servo and engine. Test is block servo line, use vac hand pump w/ gauge on other line to pump down, pump down some, hold and watch the gauge.

Servo shares manifold vac to EVAP. Hard or soft lines there or control port of EVAP leaking cause engine vac leak problems.

When I had that problem I found that I had rust holes on the bottom side of the cruise vacuum canister.
