Hi all, Im looking for some advice on an issue im having with my clutch. I have an 87 iron duke with a 5 speed manual transmission.
The problem is the car refuses to shift into gear while idling. The only gear it half goes into is reverse and it grinds horibly. Ive been reading around the form and have come across similar issues however none of their sulutions have worked for me. I have replaced the master and slave cylindars. ive tried gravity bleeding, the v8 archie method and a vacum pump but none of it has changed the issue.
I want to know does this still sound like a hydrolic issue or am i going to have to do clutch work?
Any help is apreciated, thank you

If you are confident your bleed was successful and because you replaced the master cylinder, go back and look at the mc pushrod to be sure the curl is upward. A common error that wont let the clutch fully rrlease.

What is a good way to test that?
