Hello all,
So I was putting white faces on the gauges, did so and put everything back to together and found I had no TACH. Everything else worked including my gas gauge. I took it back out and found the printed circuit board damaged, so I got another cluster housing from an 86gt with a perfect circuit board. My car is an 88 gt. I pulled the gauges and put them into the new housing. While doing this I got debris on the face of the gas gauge and when I cleaned it, I did move the needle over to full side on accident and then i put it back to where it was approximately. When I put everything back together my gas gauge is now pegged all the way to the right...Did I break it? hoping someone here has encountered this and it is an easy fix.
Thanks in advance!

Gauge isn't connected w/ the sender. Likely new back of dash has changes or is "bad" in less obvious ways. ------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

Well that sucks, but I rather know that and not waste too much time trying to fix...
Thanks Ogre!
