Here are the details, 88 Formula with an F23 swap I did this a long time ago and not sure what axles were used but i need to replace the drivers side axle and ordered one from Autozone. They had 2 available and i ordered the longer of the 2 because when I measured the original it was about 24" compressed The longer one they had was 22.5/8" I received it and upon installation I do need one longer as the inner end is at the edge of the inner pot. Can anyone comment on the correct one to buy? Part #? source?

Was hoping someone here could help out with this problem. Is there another vehicle that uses the same inner and outer ends with a compressed length of 23.5" or 23.75" ?

Thanks for the quick reply. Does that longer one have the ends that fit the Fiero hubs/trans?

I had the same problem when I switched to the F23. I fixed my problem by using a 2000 Cavalier axle. It uses the Fiero splines in both sides. The only thing you have to do is to remove the ring gear for the ABS.

Yes. Just knock off the ABS ring.
