3800SC Identify Engine Port (Page 1/1)
Jrednex OCT 08, 12:55 AM
Can someone identify this hole for me? It’s a series 2 from a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville and I’m running a Firebird oil filter housing. I fabbed a custom pulley system and the filter housing port is covered. I would like to hook up a oil pressure sender for the gauges.

Could you post a few more pictures of the area?
Some closer shots of that corner of the engine would help us answer your question.

Cool swap and beautiful work!

It sounds like that port is oil pressure, from what I see in this thread, pull the plug and see if it’s oil or coolant behind it.
