So I bought an 85 GT not too long ago and after getting it running im finally moving on to get the electrical gremlins sorted. The issue im having at the moment is with the turn signals. The right hand side signals work fine, a little slow but still function properly. The left hand side is were my woes arise. When I turn the stalk down all the lights turn on but don't blink. Along with that when i turn the headlight/parking light switch on the left turn signal dash light turns on dimly. I'm new to wiring so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes it's something as simple as a bulb shorted out internally.

Iffy Bulb(s) and more can to that...
Example: See my Cave, Sneak Path

Since some bulbs blinks...
Don't replace the Flasher Can now because "better" Cans may blink w/ iffy bulbs etc often making harder to find want's wrong.
Problem here is Many "new" Electronic Flasher Cans will blink w/ just 1 bulb working right.
When "old" thermal flashers stop blinking, is often not the flasher but bad bulbs or iffy grounds to 1 or more bulbs.

You often need to put a fixture and actually look at the bulb(s).

Not sure on 84 or 85 Fiero...
Front turn lights can often get at the socket to put out.
Turn on HL to raise them then unplug the motors to get to the back of turn lights.

If stuck or made as 1 piece, pull the front lens to watch or pull the bulb.
