Problem with lights (Page 1/1)
Fiero-88 OCT 22, 09:50 PM
I have a 1987 base coupe. All it's lights used to work how they should but now they don't, I will try to explain as best I can.
No park lights work but the headlights do.
When you have the emergency lights on only the passenger side blinks, but if you turn on the turn signal both sides work.
I replaced all light related fuses but same thing. Also, this didn't start happening until I replaced the front blinker lights and one on the back, it was fine for rest of that day, then it blew the front driver blinker I had replaced a long with the one I replaced on the back. Now it does what I wrote above.
Could it just be a bare wire somewhere, or could there be more going on?
Any help is appreciated.

Pull taillights and bulbs then watch the bulbs.
If has iffy ground(s) both filaments often is On when only 1 should be.

Note: During day, light(s) may seem "off"/"dead" but really just to dim to see when in a fixture.

Hazard and Turn Thermal Flashers need different amp draw by bulbs to flash and often Hazard works but Turn won't because Turn Can can't "see" enough bulbs.
