Another subwoofer question. (Page 1/1)
Corsair231 NOV 27, 01:58 AM
I would like a little more bass for a fuller sound. I don't want to rattle the windows, but I do still like to crank it up when there is a good song on. Just wondering what the current options are short of a box behind the seat. Is anyone making anything that will fit a sub in the stock location? A stock box reproduction maybe? Anyone found something out of another car that will work, etc?

Thanks

There are a few options. You can build a bigger box for under the dash to take up the stock location, you can build a different box to where the speaker is in the same location but the box is larger for more air volume, you can install a sub in the door of your arm rest console, install a custom box on the floor of the passenger side, or buy a pre-built subwoofer/amp setup for behind the seat.

Quite a few of us have changed out the speaker in the factory subwoofer housing.

PS - my GT has 10-inch behind the seats firewall mounted subwoofers.
