1.my temp gauge pegs when the ignition is turned to the start position. 2. The starter doesn't crank and 3. the fuel pump doen't run. I have traced all the wires, The gauges are not the source of the short. It would seem to be in the dash. Any helpful sugestions? Tony Well Louisa, Virginia 571-233-3911

1. This is normal for a Fiero, and can easily be fixed. Search for Fiero Temperature Gauge Fix

2. This could be due the Ignition Switch (all Fieros), Neutral Safety Switch (auto trans) or a Clutch Safety Switch (manual trans)

3. The ECU sends 12vDC for 5 seconde to the Fuel Pump Relay in the Start Position to pressurize the fuel rail. The relay should 'click' when hitting the Start position.
Could be caused by bad ECU, blown ECU fuse, bad relay, bad fuel pump, or the ignition switch.

This is just a start, but it does give you info as to get you going.
