Will a 87 sunbird steering wheel fit fiero without adapter or modification? Found leather one with same horns and before I remove old like to know- read will stick out about an inch but is existing bolt etc long enough? Thanks

A little research shows the 2 wheels to be the same size, and all gm wheels of that era mount the same way.

Most S-wheels on round columns for GM will mount same way. Dish (Total Depth of wheel) and/or Diameter maybe different between models.
Some S-wheels have more things then just horn button won't work in Fiero and other models. S-wheels for "square" column may mount but have wrong shape on "Back" where wheel meets the column.
You need to save the nut and clip holding S-wheel on. If Clip is missing find something to replace it. Nut rarely get loose but can happen and clip is "Safety Wire" to keep the nut and S-wheel on the shaft. Missing clip? Many fools remove the clip or car doesn't have from the factory for whatever reason.
Need S-wheel puller and SAE Bolts. Some things are Not Metric and puller bolts is one.

I had a sparco i ended up using it on a bmw but it would have been a bolt on no hub. The steering hasn't enough interior room to move forward. It must be no hub adaptor.
