Hello folks I will try not to ramble about this but I am not getting spark to the plugs...The coil is getting great spark and I tried my spare ICM and a Brand new one still no spark...Brand new cap and rotor was just replaced 2 weeks ago...And YES the tach is moving when I crank it over..All I have done as far as cleaning grounds is the rotor shaft I shined up..still Notta! I wiggled and jiggled unplugged and plugged all wires back in..Also the way it just died at 60 mph was weird..I looked at the fusible links by the battery and they all look normal..Not sure how to test stuff..What do yall professionals think I should check from here?

Edit..I also confirmed rotor is spinning while cranking and tested the pickup coil getting 850 ohms at the ICM plug..And at the 2 wire plug on distributor getting 12 volts on both wires ignition on..

What exactly does that mean?

In my opinion the first thing to do is go down to your parts store and grab a Ignition Control Module, they are super cheap and worth installing just to be sure.

I would still put a few gallons of fuel in your tank because the gurgle is a tell tale sign of being out of fuel.

It sounds like he's swapped in several different ones.

From reading, there is spark coming OUT of the coil, but it's not going out to the plugs. OP, please verify ?

Great news and also weird news. I got it running! And this is still hard to believe but it was the rotor...Unreal..I never thought a rotor could just die? It was 3 weeks old too..Does this sound right? Or did I get lucky and will haunt me later..Do rotors fry out immediately if they are defective?

You are correct arthur...I put a spark plug from the coil and was sparking
