Anyone use something like this?

Any idea what the install is like? I’ve pulled the HVAC controls and there’s no slack on those wires. Does that mean having to create some sort of adapter harness so the wiring reaches?

Most stereo decks have about 6 inches of wire. When you use the proper stereo install harness adapter, that is also 6 inches long so combined, you end up with a foot of wire harness.

I more meant, moving the hvac below the radio, is there enough slack so it can be moved? If not how to go about adding more slack?

Do you specifically want the hvac controls on the bottom? If not then you can get someone to 3d print my faceplate which keeps the hvac on the top. you just need to cut some of the console skeleton to fit the corners in if you are comfortable with that.

Nice that might be easier to work with.

Not sure if any of you are aware but a 3d printed skeleton has already been done for us. Also, you have the option to get it with the HVAC moved to the bottom along with a double din up top. Contact Mathew Meyer on Facebook or mmeyer86gt/gtp here.
