Trunk lid bumper, broken fiberglass (Page 1/1)

This used to be where the adjustable bumper screwed in to. Any repair suggestions?

Fast and dirty would be a thin piece of steel overlapping the hole and rivet it in.
Or glass right over it and redrill it.
