My locks will repeatedly unlock and lock on my GT project.
As part of that project, I'm currently working on rebuilding the driver's side door.
I noted that the lock switch was cracked, and sourced a replacement, thinking that might be the reason the lock solenoids are doing what they're doing.
I noted that with the original switch, I could feel one side depressing (can't remember which side, lock or unlock, it's not in front of me) but not the other.
New Dorman switch arrived today, and...same thing. One side depresses slightly (unlock) but the lock side I can't feel anything move at all. Maybe a tiny bit.
Is this normal ?

Thanks. As for the relay, I'll definitely check it out the next time I'm able to work on the car, I've torn so many thing apart on her that it wouldn't surprise me that I'd knocked it askew.
