Trying to add factory sub to my car. Pulled everything from a car with AC, my car does not. Can someone tell me if a non AC car ever came with a sub? If so does anyone have pictures, possibly with dimensions of the bracket from the sub box to the heater box?
Thanks in advance.

My 84 Indy had A/C but no factory subwoofer (wasn't available then). When I installed one, I managed to find the A/C system heater core cover with subwoofer bracket from a later car.

Make sure you get everything. In addition to the overhead console, there's also the wiring harness which goes through the driver's A-pillar, and connects to the factory amplifyer, which sits between the carpet and the center console. There's basically an intermediary bracket that goes between the normal 4-speaker harness and the radio... which has a Y-off to the amp. The amp then of course has a wire that feeds to the sub box located in the passenger foot-well, which also includes the little sound tube that connects off of it.
I have a lot of pictures on this page that might be helpful: https://www.pontiacperforma...l#SPEAKERS-SUBWOOFER
It's an old website that I made with notepad, and I've since copied it from a Windows host to a Linux host, so some of the links no longer work due to case sensitivity... but it should help.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I do have all the harness’s and amp. It’s just the one bracket that I’m looking for.
