Is this the correct EGR for my 1988 Idron Duke? (pic inside) (Page 1/1)

New EGR looks different from the original. The holes and orifices line up OK but the new one has two smaller hoes that don't have matching holes in the mounting flange.


Also, the one of the original mounting bolts is longer than the other abd won't clear the EGR body when I try to insert it.

bolts likely isn't OE and they used whatever that fit at the time.
If replace... just make sure bolt use all or most threads in the intake manifold and use anti seize.
If use standard head bolts, try to use flat washers. seems to help when have to take off ERG for valve cover problems.

Ignore the small holes. Likely only used to make them easier by the factory.

Best now to buy Felpro Valve cover gaskets w/ better gasket and hardware. VS50179T PermaDryPlus
