L4 coolant leak under intake manifold (Page 1/1)

2.5 leaking coolant, dripping from the steel "J" pipe that screws onto the threaded fitting on the bottom passenger side of the intake manifold. What is needed to stop the leak?

Upper section is NPT not Metric thread and maybe the the threads are rotted thru.
Bottom section is a Flare fitting. SAE Not Metric I think.

See https://www.fiero.nl/forum/...21-2-095637.html#p15

If the leak is in the upper section, may need a lot to fix and take off Intake to repair or replace that.

If is in the bottom, depends on just why to fix.
Example: If tube is bad, likely can make a tube out of copper. Or replace whole thing w/ common plumbing parts.

Leak stop only works for short term if works at all for this and many other leaks.
