Fidanza aluminum flywheel (Page 1/1)

I am pretty sure, Summit/Fidanza have made mistakes here.
https://www.summitracing.co...cations/make/pontiac

The same Fidanza flywheel is listed as fitting Pontiac 6000 2.5L Iron Duke,
(and OTHER 4-cylinders) as well as the Fiero 2.8L V6 engines.

We know that only the 1987-88 V6s use a zero balanced flywheel.
So the 85-86 can't use the same flywheel either.
And to add more confusion, Fidanza's site doesn't help a lot either.

But I'd love to find an aluminum flywheel for my SD4 4-cylinder engine.
I think I'll have to talk with Spec about ordering one for a '88 V6 5-speed, but having the mounting holes drilled for the 2.5L engine.

I myself have a Fidanza aluminum flywheel with my 2.4l Ecotec Turbo '88 GT. I really love it!
