Did the 88 GT fuse holder ever have a cover on it ?

Don't think so.
All have 2 "tabs" you squeeze to lower the box so easier to replace a dead fuse. If the tabs are release or bloke then box hangs down on the plastic "hinge" and big target to hit w/ feet etc.
I think the tabs and hinge is part of the Trim that hold the F-box and left fool light on Fiero w/ them.
