Courtesy lights issues (Page 1/1)

For some unknown reason to me, my lower courtesy lights come on .Sitting in the garage with no one around either day or night my lower interior lights come on and kill my battery. This just started by itself with nothing changed in my wiring . Anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it ?

Might be other problems but check all fuses first.

My guess is either it's one of the switches in the door that needs to be adjusted, or one of the relays has gone bad. You can test the switches by opening a door (one at a time) and then manually pushing in the switch to see if it turns off. But chances are, it could also be a relay. Refer to the link Ogre posted. Shouldn't be too hard to fix, so I wouldn't worry.
