Shortly after our rescue dog became accustomed to riding in the 88GT she and I were going into town. I heard a clicking sound. Constant, regardless of speed. I looked over and saw Bailey smiling at me while standing with one front foot on the power window control. The passenger side window had gone to its furthest out position and was trying its best to go further. Click, click, click, click . . .

Hi John!
Is that just a removable overlay so the power mirror control is still accessible?
It looks good!

Olejoedad! You still hanging out at the pool hall?
Yes, just a piece of sheet aluminum from (you may remember) Kliendorfer's Hardware and Variety. Punched out the holes with hammer and chisel, flat file for smoothing hole edges, and grinder wheel for the outer edge rounding.
I push down on one of the rear corners to tilt it up to get to the mirror control, then just set back in place when done.

The aluminum is about a 1/16 inch thick. The ".25mm" must be like thin cardboard thickness. Sure, carbon fiber is super light and strong, but don't you think a little thicker would be easier to work with? ------------------ John W. Tilford
