A little background may be in order here - when my wife bought her '84 2M4 several years ago (as a driveable project), a prior owner had replaced the factory radio with an aftermarket unit that did not use the dimming feature. Apparently his answer to this was to leave the dimmer wire dangling loose and uncapped in the radio cavity. You can guess what happened in the intervening years. Thankfully the dimmer wire jacket was all that burned, but it did so all the way back to the dimmer. I'm now in the process of putting the interior back together, using another factory radio. The plan is to run a stand-alone wire from the dimmer to the radio connector. So, I've got the new wire and an aftermarket factory-style radio connector set. Just trying to source a correct terminal to lock into the dimmer connector. Looks like it's a Packard/Delphi/Aptiv series 56 female in size to slide onto a .200" male spade. Has anyone had any success finding these terminals, as well as the other various terminals scattered throughout our little weirdo cars? I've got an email in to Jurassic Classic, but haven't heard anything yet. But, to be fair, I'm not as patient as I could be. Thanks in advance...

Try Amazon. I believe they are called baemain female terminals. I found most Autoparts stores carry them in small pacs of 10 or so. sleek

Thanks, Sleek. Found Baomain on Amazon, I think Baomain is the Chinese company copying Aptiv's terminal design (with or without permission). Only saw the 1/4" terminals, which are too wide to fit in the dimmer connector. I also didn't search Baomain any further to see if they had any .200" . I work part-time at my FLAPS, and we have the same 1/4" terminals, but again, they just won't fit the connector. And the 3/16" copies won't slide onto the terminal on the dimmer. There are all kinds of ugly work-arounds I've dreamed up, but I'm really looking for a clean win here...

I agree there are so many variation of connector terminals. I would try searching the web as there are dedicated terminal and connector companies out there that can supply exact replacement. .My local Napa got replacements for my c203 and c205 connectors. Keep looking you will find them. Strange I found terminals for my light switch and they should be the same. I'll see if i've got the package to get a part number.

Trying to get back onto baomain's website, and keep getting the message, "This site can't be reached". From the company's own link. Not sure what's going on there, but I'm not afraid to suspect it's a conspiracy by the Chinese Communist Party. Just sayin'... Got to keep searching. Mouser Electronics and Waytek show some promise.

Made it work with a 3/16" female crimp-on terminal and a little work on the male terminal on the switch with a flat Swedish file. Slides right on, nice and tight; works good, lasts long time. Might get this interior thrown back in, finally!
