WCF 4t65e-hd shift bracket help (Page 1/1)
MichiganReefer JUN 01, 10:14 PM
Hey everyone, hoping to find some advice from people who have done the 3800 swap and possibly used the WCF shift bracket for the 4t65e-hd. They provide it undrilled and offer no real instructions on how to determine where to drill the hole. In addition the rectangular hole that fits on the shift pin doesn't fit. Can anyone guide me on how to figure the best spot to drill it? Does this process have to begin once the cradle is in the car and I can put the shift cable into the catch of the bracket? Does anyone have some good pictures of the WCF bracket done properly? I'd appreciate it, I've scoured the forum and haven't been able to find a post talking about it.

Thank you

Please post a picture of their bracket.

I've used that WCF Bellcrank device and it works but its quite difficult to measure, locate and drill the main swing lever hole for proper function. Best to wait until everything is in place before drilling the swing lever hole.

This, unfortunately, isn't the best picture, but I hope it helps. The silver piece has been formed and welded. The linkage is off to the side.

I've never used a bellcrank system on a 4T65EHD.

I've always modified the stock cable bracket and shift lever.
