Finally got everything I needed to replace my struts (you may recall my post a few weeks back) I bought a complete strut replacement kit from TFS... and now that I'm going to assemble it, the strut bumper on this new kit is MUCH larger than my previous one. While the old one seems to be in good condition, I'd like to replace it if possible. I've attached a few photos to show the difference. Am I doing something wrong, or did I just get a strut bumper that was far too large? Thanks! You were a great help last time. Yes, I have an '88. TFS had it written for 84-88, so I'll have to contact their support and have then update it. Old one it is! Does anybody know if I should have to worry about anything other than the strut bumper? This *seems* like it's the only "wrong" part.
