When I turn my AC on in my 88 GT air only comes out under the dash where the heat should come from. All blowers work but nothing is coming out of the dash AC openings. Any ideas what the culprit could be ?

Blend door is not functioning and or the tubing has come off. Does you defrost vent work? Suggest the search feature...blend door...how to is there. [This message has been edited by steve308 (edited 06-26-2023).]

How much dash has to be removed to get to the blend door motor ? Is there a step by step tutorial on how to do it ?

Search feature is your friend for this infomation! Also, if you haven't cleaned out the heater element box do that first. It could be stuffed with a mouse nest which can have an effect of interior air flow. Yes, search feature will show you where and how. In search change the parameters to 'entire forum and archives' to increase your chances of finding what you need.

There is no tubing on the blend door control. It is cable actuated.

You are correct. I was referring to the tubing/piping/ molded ducting that route the air to the various vents.
