Trunk Light/Electrical Anomaly (Page 1/1)

I have a strange electrical issue which I'm hoping someone can figure out:

I leave the trunk lid open in my garage at times so I don't have to keep popping it open when I'm doing stuff, so I pulled the fuse to avoid battery drainage.

I pulled the 20A fuse (#17 in the manual) which controls the trunk lid release, trunk light, power door locks and power mirrors. After pulling the fuse I confirmed all power was cut from these - with the exception of the trunk light. It went slightly dim, but still stayed on.

This baffles me. Any ideas what could be going on here?

Just pull the trunk light.

I myself don't find it particularly useful, but then I don't drive the car much and if I do, I don't really need the trunk light anyways. lol
