Dear members,
I have gone to this site, because i believe that on this site i can find the most knowledge on the engine Nordstar swaps.
I have the following setup, 95 nordstar with a 1227730 Ecm with a E prom file from Ryan Hess. The problem is when it starts and it doesnβt work as it should and i have a error code 41 what do i have to change to get rid of this error? Or is there a new E prom file that i could use?

Error 41 = ECM to memcal problem
I think i must try a v8 memcal instat of a v6 wat type of car will be the best ? Saturn?

I believe that there may be some SBC (small block Chevy) prom chips available for the 7730 ECM. This being the case they must be programmed for the Northstar engine but I am not sure that you can do sequential V8 fire on a N* with that ECM. Northstar engines have been used in many different swap configurations and even in boats. I would try to find out how those swaps were completed and what engine management was used, ------------------

Thanks, this information was verry helpfull .i have cut one pin off the chip ,and it is a V8 .πππ
