Hello everyone.
Over the years I have met many people and have had life long customers. I stopped working on cars about 10 years ago after a mental breakdown and bad depression. I've come through it, but I am not the same person I was.
Anyway, I just got this 84 from the original owner tonight. My son will be 18 years old 10/02 and he has said that his dream car is a Fiero.
If anyone wants / needs any pictures of an unmolested 1984 (other than it has a recall engine) feel free to ask.
Head liner and sun visors have been redone.
I might post a few updates as I fix things.
1984 auto, manual windows and mirrors. It does have AC, don't know if that works.

Good looking car! The white is sharp. I always preferred the GT style, but I got to say these notchies are growing on me. [This message has been edited by gregr75 (edited 07-08-2023).]

Buddy, this is awesome!!!
I'm also so happy to see those 13" wheels. I know they get poo-poo'ed on a lot, but they are so distinct and I've always thought they were so cool. Although I can only see two of them, I see that you even still have the center caps which almost always go missing. VERY cool.
Would love to see pictures of under the hood and engine compartment.

Nice find and great to see you posting again. . I expect that it will provide economy and good gas mileage. The only thing is that 95HP performance may be looked at in today's world as being sluggish and may not do it for your son. However, I know several people that drive the 2M4 and they are quite happy with them. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. @82-T/A [At Work] The 13" turbo wheels are so rare. I got excited whenever I would see a car with them
Dennis LaGrua I don't know what to think. The damn thing was pretty peppy up to 70 mph.

When it was brand new, the duke was only 90 HP... so 40 years later, it sure as heck isn't getting more powerful. Having said that, my first autocross car was an '84 Fiero, with a swapped in 5-spd, lowering springs and an added rear sway bar. It was plenty of fun on the track.
And Buddy, let me also say that it's good to have you back posting again!

Well. The starter just clicks, but no crank. So she either loves me and gave me one last start so I could drive her home, or we are off to a rocky relationship.
I'm getting fat and old gentlemen. I went to get a starter, pulled her in place with a tow strap, got her up on jack stands, and decided I was done for the night.
And thank you all for the warm welcome back. Hopefully I still have something to offer the group.

I do have a question, what color wires go to the ac compressor? Someone cut my harness decades ago and I’m trying to piece it back together. The 84 was different with all of the other years.

I'll look while I'm down there changing the starter.
