I have a 1984 2.5 I'm doing over the a/c but I can't find the high pressure vale. I've seen videos where down under the accumulator is were the valve is located but mine don't have it. On the video there's an aluminum line with a pressure hose, in my car there is a black thin steel line with no valve. Can anyone guide me here. AC Hoses can often be "remade" by local Hyrdaulic Hose Shops. Call around. ------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

slim chance you'll find a new one at the parts stores. You may have better luck removing your old one, if it still exist, and googling "Hydraulic hose service near xxxxx. <<< your zipcode. Take it there and have it duplicated. If your metal ends are still good, they can use them and only have to crimp on some new hose. Many construction companies with heavy equipment have their own shops that can fabricate a damaged hose to keep the project moving. Maybe they can point you in the right direction. There was a member on this forum that made mine for the 3800sc swap. Cant recall his name. I sent him my metal ends and he returned them with new hoses crimped on.

He changed his entire post. It originally said he needed an A/C hose.
